Where do you watch Plamfy Live?

Plamfy Live is the Live tab: a list of rooms that are open right now, each one a person streaming from her own space. You reach it two ways, from the video feed or from the Who's online page, and it plays in your browser with your camera off.

In the video feed, the row of tabs along the top reads For You, Private, Following, Live and Hot. Tap Live and you get a full column of rooms, one per screen. Rooms also turn up now and then inside For You and Hot, so you may stumble into one while scrolling clips.

The Who's online page has its own switch between Online and Live. On the Live side, rooms sit two to a row as cards, and each card has a small video button in the corner for the nights you want to skip the room and call straight away. Both doors lead to the same rooms; pick whichever you open first. A Plamfy live stream plays in the same tab as everything else, on a phone or a laptop. The Plamfy home page has a button that drops you right into the tab.

How do you pick a room worth staying in?

Give each room about a minute and look at three things: who is on screen, how busy the room chat is, and whether she is answering people. If all three feel right, stay. If not, swipe up; the next room is already playing and nobody notices you left.

The first look is simple taste. Some people sing along to music, some chat while doing their make-up, some just talk. You know within seconds whether the mood suits you tonight.

The second look is the chat. A room where messages scroll steadily is lively and a little loud; a room with a few slow lines is quieter and easier to be noticed in. Neither is better. It depends on whether you came to listen or to talk.

The third look matters most if you might call her later: is she reading the chat and replying by name? Someone who talks with the room usually enjoys a private call too. That's the habit regulars build, and it is why the same faces end up in their messages week after week.

Your first five minutes inside a live room

Minute one: you tap a room and it opens full screen. Her name sits top left with a small plus beside it for following. Top right shows how many people are watching; tap that bar and the viewer list opens. A short line tells the room you have joined, with your display name, never your face.

Minutes two and three: you watch. Messages from other viewers float up from the bottom left. Some rooms have a little card pinned near the top with a wish or a goal she is collecting gifts for.

Minute four: you type something. The chat button sits in the bottom row next to the gift box and the big Start Video Chat button. A short hello and where you're from is plenty.

Minute five: you decide. Stay, follow, send a gift, or swipe to the next room. If the room ever feels off, the report icon is near the top right, and the community guidelines list what counts as crossing the line.

What are Premium rooms?

Premium rooms are rooms with a door policy. On the Live list their cards look dimmed with a Premium label, and when you tap in, a panel tells you what it takes to enter. There are three kinds: an entry gift, following her first, or being a paying user.

An entry-gift room asks you to send one particular gift, which works as a ticket for that stream. A followers room has a Follow And Enter button; following costs nothing but needs an account. A paying-users room asks you to top up coins before you can watch. The panel says which kind you are looking at, so you can decide before you spend anything. Most rooms are not Premium at all; if one doesn't suit you, swipe on.

How coins, gifts and VIP fit together is laid out on the free to start, then coins page.

Do you need a live streaming app on your phone?

No. Plamfy plays live rooms in Safari, Chrome or any current browser, so there is no live streaming app to install and no store page to find. If you want a one-tap icon, add the site to your home screen and it opens full screen, the way an installed app would.

This matters for a few practical reasons. There is no download eating storage, no update to wait for before tonight's stream, and nothing on your phone with a name you would have to explain. On a laptop, a bigger screen makes the room chat easier to follow.

The Plamfy app page shows the home-screen steps for iPhone and Android, plus a short fix list for a stream that refuses to load.

Who sees you while you watch?

Nobody sees your face, because your camera is never switched on in a live room. A short line shows your display name when you join, and you may appear in the viewer list by that name. Others also see anything you type in the room chat and any gift you send.

If you would rather stay low-key, pick a plain display name, skip the chat for a while and just watch. There is no penalty for being quiet. When you do talk, the room chat is public to everyone in that room, so keep your full name, phone number and social accounts out of it.

When she's live again: badges and follows

Following needs an account: as a guest, tapping the plus next to her name asks you to sign in first, while watching, chatting and calling still work without one. Tap the plus next to her name and you follow her. From then on, when she goes live, a badge appears on her picture in your message list, at the top of your chat with her, and on her profile. Tap the picture and you go straight into her room.

The badge updates when you open those screens, so check your messages when you sit down for the evening rather than waiting for it to change in front of you. Her profile has a message button too, handy for saying thanks after a good stream.

When watching isn't enough

At some point you may want her attention without the rest of the room. Tap Start Video Chat at the bottom of her room and Plamfy asks her for a private call. If she is already in one, the button turns grey and reads In a Call; wait in the room or come back later.

Calling someone you have watched for a while feels very different from a call with a stranger. The private video chat page goes through the three ways to call her, a short checklist before you tap, and the manners that keep her on the line. Streaming yourself isn't part of Plamfy, and about Plamfy explains why.

Questions

What people ask about Plamfy Live

What is Plamfy Live?

It is the Live tab on Plamfy: a list of rooms open right now, where you can watch someone streaming, type in the room chat, send gifts and ask her for a private call, all in your browser.

Where can I watch live streaming for free?

Plamfy is free to start. You can open the Live tab as a guest with no card and no sign-up form. Most gifts use coins, and some Premium rooms ask for an entry gift or a paying account.

Is there a live streaming app I don't have to install?

Plamfy works that way. It runs in your phone or computer browser, and you can add it to your home screen if you want an icon that opens it full screen.

Can I watch Plamfy Live on a laptop?

Yes. Any current browser on Windows or Mac plays the rooms. A laptop screen also makes the room chat easier to read.

How do I switch to the next stream?

Swipe up or down inside a room, or scroll on a computer. The next room starts playing straight away.

Can I talk to people live in the room?

Yes. Tap the chat button at the bottom of the room and type, and your message appears on screen for everyone watching. Some rooms ask you to follow or send a gift before you can type; a short panel tells you which.

Who's in the Live tab right now?

The Live tab only lists rooms that are open at that moment, so whoever you see there is on now. The list changes through the day and evening.

Why can't I get into some rooms?

Those are Premium rooms. Depending on the room, you need to send an entry gift, follow her first, or be a paying user. The panel tells you which.

Does she see me when I watch?

She does not see your face, because your camera stays off. She can see your display name when you join and anything you type or send in the room.

Can I start my own stream?

No. Plamfy accounts cannot broadcast. Viewers watch, chat, send gifts and call; the people streaming are a separate group.
