Plamfy Privacy Policy
Plamfy lets you watch people live in your browser, talk in their rooms and call someone privately. Doing that means handling some information about you. This page explains what we collect, why we need it, who helps us run the service and what you can ask us to do. Questions go to [email protected].

Plamfy is run by the team behind plamfy.cam. "We" and "us" mean that team; "you" means anyone who opens the site, whether you arrived as a guest, created an account or launched Plamfy from an icon on your home screen.
It covers you from the moment the page first loads. A guest session starts as soon as the site loads, because the Live tab, the video feed and calls all need to know which device is asking.
Like most websites, Plamfy keeps technical logs: your IP address and the rough location it suggests, browser and device type, screen size, language, the screens you open, which rooms you enter and leave, when calls start and end, and error reports when something breaks.
Live rooms and private calls run through streaming infrastructure that needs your IP address and connection details to route sound and picture. We use these logs to keep the service working, to spot abuse and to understand which parts of the site people actually use.
Plamfy stores small pieces of data in your browser through cookies and local storage. They keep your guest session alive between visits, remember your language and note small things, such as whether you have already closed a tip.
Clearing site data ends your guest session, and Plamfy then treats you as a new visitor. Blocking storage completely will stop rooms and calls from working properly.
When you translate a text message, the text is sent to a translation service so it can come back in your language. Only the text of that message is sent for this, not your camera or microphone.
We work with providers who run the servers behind the site, carry live streams and calls, translate text and process payments. They receive only what they need for that job. Plamfy has never sold a viewer's personal information and does not plan to. We may share information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect someone from harm.
Your camera is never shown in a live room. When you enter a room, your display name can appear in the room and in its viewer list, and anything you type or send in the room chat is visible to everyone there. In a private call, the other person sees and hears whatever your camera and microphone pick up, so keep personal details out of the frame.
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, for example while your account is active or while a report is being looked into, and then delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for your data to be deleted. Email [email protected] from an address you can reply from and include your display name so we can find the right account. You can also clear your browser's site data at any time to end a guest session on that device.
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change is significant, we will also mention it on the site.
