What do people ask about watching live?

Watching is where almost everyone starts, and most questions are about finding rooms and moving between them. The short answer: open the Live tab and swipe, then stay wherever the mood suits you. The long answer is the guide to watching live streams in your browser.

Where is the Live tab?

At the top of the video feed, in the row with For You, Private, Following and Hot. The Who's online page also has a Live switch.

How many rooms can I look at before choosing one?

As many as you like. Swipe up or down to move to the next room; nobody is told why you left.

Why is a room card dimmed with a Premium label?

That room has an entry rule: an entry gift, following first, or being a paying user. Tapping it shows which.

What does the plus next to her name do?

It follows her. Following is free but needs an account, and the next time she streams a live badge on her picture takes you into her room.

Can I watch quietly without anyone noticing?

Your camera stays off. A short line shows your display name when you join, but you never have to type a word.

How do private calls work?

A private call is you and one person you have watched, away from her room. You start it with Start Video Chat at the bottom of her room or the video button on her card or profile. The private video chat page covers manners and what to expect.

Does anyone else see a private call?

No. It is you and her, nobody else. The people in her room do not see or hear it.

What does In a Call mean on her room?

She is already in a private call with someone else. Wait a little or come back later.

Will the browser ask for my camera?

Yes. When a call starts, your browser asks for camera and microphone access, and the call uses them once you allow it.

Can I call someone who is not live right now?

Her profile has a video button you can use any time. Whether she picks up depends on whether she is around.

Can a guest start a call?

Yes. You don't need an account to tap Start Video Chat.

What should you know about coins and VIP?

Plamfy is free to start, then coins. New users get some free matches, rewards pop up now and then, and coins cover gifts and other paid parts. The page on what is free and what coins pay for has the full table.

Where do I top up coins?

In the wallet inside Plamfy. Your balance and the top-up options are both there.

Are gifts paid with coins?

Most are. A gift plays on screen in the room with your name attached.

What does VIP include?

VIP is an optional paid tier. Its perks are listed in the wallet before you buy, and a VIP gets an arrival banner in live rooms.

My top-up didn't arrive. What now?

Refresh the wallet first. If the balance hasn't changed, email support with the amount, date and payment reference.

Guests and accounts

Plamfy starts everyone as a guest. You can watch, chat and call that way; following someone is the step that asks you to sign in, and you can make an account if you want to keep things in one place. The step-by-step tour shows where everything lives.

Do I have to sign up to watch?

No. You arrive as a guest the moment the page loads and can open the Live tab straight away.

Can I use Plamfy on two devices?

Yes. Your phone and your laptop both open the same site in a browser, so there is nothing extra to set up on either.

Can I stream from my account?

No. Viewers cannot go live on Plamfy, from a guest session or an account.

Does Plamfy need my phone number?

No. You can start as a guest and watch without giving a phone number or your real name.

Which devices does Plamfy run on?

Any current browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install, you can pin Plamfy to your home screen, and a phone and a laptop give you the same Live tab and the same buttons. Device steps and a fix list for streams are on the Plamfy app page.

Does Plamfy work on an old phone?

Usually, as long as the browser is up to date. Very old browsers may struggle with live video.

Why is there no sound in a room?

Check the silent switch on an iPhone, the volume, and whether Low Power mode is on. Then reload the room.

Can I use Plamfy on a TV?

If your TV has a modern web browser, it may work. A laptop connected to the TV is the more reliable route.

Does the home screen icon need updating?

No. It opens the website, so you always get the current version.

Staying safe

Most safety on Plamfy comes down to habits: keep personal details private, keep conversations on the site, and report from where it happened. The safety habits page has the details, and the community guidelines list what gets someone removed.

Someone in a room asked for my number. Should I give it?

No. Keep conversations on Plamfy, where report and block work, and report the request if it keeps coming.

Is it okay to send money to someone I like?

No. Never send money outside the site. Gifts inside a room are the only way coins change hands.

How fast can I leave a room or call?

Instantly. Close the room or end the call; you don't owe anyone an explanation.

Where is the report button?

Near the top of every live room, and on every profile.
